Dinajpur is a remote district bordering the northwest region of Bangladesh. It is said to be a backward district from all sides. The brainchild of Professor Dr. M. Amjad Hossain Sir, the brainchild of this district, gave birth to a phrase “no more stopping”. As a result of which he established a foundation in 2000. Which is named “AB Foundation”. “Amena-Baki Residential Model School” was the first of the multi-faceted activities carried out under this foundation. Encouraged by such success, the founder and president of AB Foundation, war-killed freedom fighter Prof. Dr. Amjad Hossain (Freedom Medalist), has taken comprehensive measures to implement modern education as well as technical education. In the first academic year 2001 we started the education program from nursery to 3rd standard. In order to meet the expectations of respected parents and local people, we have introduced up to 7th standard in 2003 and up to 8th standard in 2004 academic year. In 2004, it was approved by the government as a lower secondary school. Participated in SSC examination in 2010, 2011 and 2012 and got 3rd place in Dinajpur education board 3 times and in 2013 got 1st place in education board by getting 100% GPA-5 in SSC examination. Later in 2014 Dinajpur got 4th place and 6th place in 2015. In 2014, the college branch was started by raising it from school level to college level. In 2016, the first batch of the college branch participated in the final examination and brought unexpected success by participating in the upazila, district, divisional and national level competitions along with the students in the curricular activities.
